For the M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies: Focus in International Service-Learning and Leadership program, U.S. students are eligible for two different low-interest federal loans: the Stafford loan (maximum of $18,500), and the Grad PLUS Loan (to cover the maximum remaining balance of the program cost, travel, and other expenses).
Once you are accepted into the program, Portland State University will guide you through the financial aid process.

MA students may be eligible to apply for scholarships and awards from other sources, such as:
WAGS Master's Thesis Award and Innovation in Technology Award
The Western Association of Graduate Schools (WAGS) provides awards recognizing distinguished scholarly achievement as demonstrated in a master's thesis and the innovative application of technology to thesis/dissertation scholarship at both the master's and doctoral level. Nominations must be submitted by the student's thesis or dissertation adviser.
