Program Design

IPSL offers three types of programs:

Core Programs - our regular undergraduate semester and summer programs for credit, offered in: Ecuador (Guayaquil, Quito and Galapagos), Mexico, Jamaica, Lakota Nation (USA), Italy, India and Thailand. Individual students may apply; groups may also contract to go on core programs.

Customized Programs, which may be specially arranged for college or university or other groups, offered in: England, Scotland, Russia, Philippines, and Lakota Nation (USA). Customized programs are offered for groups only, not individual students.

Graduate Program - an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies: Focus in International Service-Learning and Leadership program.

Each IPSL Core Program is a little different, and we encourage you to explore the pages specific to each program by visiting our Program Pages. There you will find details on academic studies, service placements, living arrangements, excursions, dates, fees, and deadlines. You can also search for programs using criteria such as fields of study, area of service, and language of instruction.

Despite variations, all IPSL programs share some common features:
